Earlier the Geeksphone Revolution was priced at EUR 222 (approximately Rs. 19,000) on its official web store with worldwide shipping option.
About the new software, the Spanish company hasn't given out the exact timeframe of release, but has said that it will incorporate also Android 4.4 KitKat, Firefox OS 2.0 (FXOS 2.0) and CyanogenMod 11 in the coming days.
At present, the Revolution smartphone lets you choose between Android or Mozilla's FXOS (Boot2Gecko) operating system and the company said it is already working on Android 4.4 KitKat and FXOS 2.0 updates.

GeeksPhone was founded in early 2009 by Javier Aguera and Rodrigo Silva-Ramos. The Geeksphone Revolution was first introduced last year in November.
The Geeksphone Revolution smartphone features a 4.7-inch qHD (540x960 pixel) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor alongside 1GB of RAM. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, while there is also a 2-megapixel front-facing camera onboard. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card. It packs a 2000mAh battery.
