InFocus M680 With 4G Support, 13-Megapixel Front Camera Launched at Rs. 10,999

InFocus on Monday added a new handset to its growing mid-range lineup in India. Called the InFocus M680, the highlights of the handset are its 13-megapixel front-facing camera, and 4G capability. The InFocus M680 is priced at Rs. 10,999, and will be sold on Snapdeal via flash sale in Silver and Gold colour images. The first sale is on December 21, with registrations beginning Monday.

The InFocus M680 is the bigger sibling of the InFocus M535, which was launched in India in November. For the new smartphone, the company is upping the display and camera resolutions.

Inside the all-metal shell, the InFocus M680 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with 401ppi density. It is powered by MediaTek's MT6753 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz, and 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, and allows users to expand via microSD card (up to 32GB), with a hybrid dual-SIM slot (Nano-SIM card).

Other features of the handset include a 13-megapixel rear-camera and a 13-megapixel front-facing shooter. Both have an f/2.2 aperture, the company noted. The dual-SIM capable smartphone supports Indian 4G LTE bands, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, and other connectivity features. It also houses a 2600mAh battery. On the software side, it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and the company claims the M680 will receive an Android Marshmallow update at some point in the future.

Commenting on the launch InFocus M680, Sachin Thapar, Country Head, InFocus India, said, "Early this year we debuted in the Indian smartphone market to bring best of the smartphone experience and we have been able to deliver on this promise successfully with Foxconn as our strategic partner."
