Following the user agent profile listing on the company site last week for the SM-A700FD, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (SM-A700) has again made it to the news with the handset's purported GFXBench test results have appeared online.

The GFXBench results of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (SM-A700) mention key specifications, few of which are in-line with previous leaks. While the full-HD display resolution, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and a 64-bit processor were already rumoured for the device, the result adds other features like a 5.2-inch screen size, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (ARMv7) 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM (listed as 1.8GB), Adreno 405 GPU, OpenGL ES 3.0, 16GB inbuilt storage, a 12-megapixel autofocus rear and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The listing of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (ARMv7) processor on GFXBench contradicts both the UA profile listing, as well as Qualcomm's own specs for the Snapdragon 615, which both detail it as an ARMv8 processor.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy A7 or SM-A700's rear camera is listed with flash and the ability to record full-HD videos. The front-facing 5-megapixel camera can also record full-HD videos. The handset additionally houses Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, and Wi-Fi wireless connectivity options. Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and compass are also included in the benchmark listing.

Based on earlier leaks, the Galaxy A7 is likely to be priced between $450 and $500 (roughly Rs. 24,500-30,500) and will launch in limited countries, unlike the Samsung Galaxy A3 and Samsung Galaxy A5, which are expected to be more widely available. The Galaxy A7 is also expected to come with LTE connectivity.

Prior to this, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (SM-A500) and Samsung Galaxy A3 (SM-A300) were spotted in a leaked video sporting metal chamfered edges, apart from being pictured alongside the Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

The alleged Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 are said to fall under the $400 to $450 (roughly Rs. 24,500-27,500) and $350 and $400 (roughly Rs. 21,000-24,500) price brackets respectively.
