Byond Tech, a Pune based company, is a producer of mobiles phones, phablets and tablets. It is a brand that focuses on making budget smartphones for the Indian market. Byond Tech has launched smartphones priced under Rs. 3,000 in India. The company's smartphones are powered by Google's Android operating system. Byond's latest mobile launch is the Galaxy A36 5G. The mobile was launched in 2nd March 2025. The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2340 pixels by 1080 pixels.

It comes with 8GB, 12GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB, 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1000GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) + 5-megapixel (f/2.4) primary camera on the rear and a 12-megapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies.

The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G runs Android 15 and is powered by a 5000mAh non removable battery. It measures 162.90 x 78.20 x 7.40 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 195.00 grams.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
