Xiaomi is a privately owned company that designs, develops, and sells smartphones, an Android-based OS, and other consumer electronics. Xiaomi also makes fitness trackers, TVs, air purifiers, and tablets. It has a skin for its Android phones and tablets – MIUI. The company largely sells its phones via flash sales in India.

Xiaomi's latest mobile launch is the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The mobile was launched in 29th August 2019. The phone comes with a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 pixels.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro is powered by octa-core (2x2.05GHz + 6x2GHz) MediaTek Helio G90T processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Redmi Note 8 Pro packs a 64-megapixel (f/1.79) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 20-megapixel (f/2.0) front shooter for selfies.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro runs Android 9 Pie and is powered by a 4500mAh non removable battery. It measures 161.70 x 76.40 x 8.81 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 200.00 grams.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, Infrared, USB OTG, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
