OnePlus is a Shenzhen-based start-up and producer of smartphones founded in December, 2013. The company's claim to fame is its bid to offer flagship-level specs in its smartphones, at affordable prices. OnePlus initially sold its smartphones only through an invite system where customers would be sent an invite to purchase smartphones and they had to make the purchase within a fixed time frame. Of late the company has held open sales of its smartphones too. OnePlus's latest mobile launch is the 15R. The mobile was launched in 17th December 2025. The phone comes with a 6.83-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1272 pixels by 2800 pixels at a PPI of 450 pixels per inch. The OnePlus 15R is powered by 3.8 MHz octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and it comes with 12GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB, 512GB of internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, the OnePlus 15R packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) primary camera on the rear and a 32-megapixel (f/2.0) front shooter for selfies. The OnePlus 15R runs Android 16 and is powered by a 7,400mAh non removable battery. It measures 163.40 x 77.00 x 8.30 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 219.00 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C and Active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Temperature sensor.
