Just days after purported images and specifications of Google's next generation Nexus 7 tablet appeared online, we now have access to alleged press shots of the tablet, courtesy the notorious @evleaks.

The front of the tablet looks similar to the current generation Nexus 7. You can clearly see a notification light at the bottom and a camera lens at the top. The back of the tablet sports a camera lens at the top left, similar to the tablet spotted in the previously leaked images. It also sports the 'nexus' branding etched on the tablet horizontally (landscape), and the Asus logo towards the bottom marked vertically. A speaker grill is placed at the top right next to the 3.5-mm headset jack and another grill can be spotted at the bottom that breaks in the middle to include the micro-USB port.

@evleaks has also posted the side profile of the tablet that reveals the next generation Nexus 7's slim design and Power and Volume rocker keys placed with a microphone, towards the upper side of the tablet. The two keys are also visible in the shot that features the tablet's back in addition to what appears to be a flap for the SIM card tray. @evleaks has also revealed that the tablet will be available in both 16GB and 32GB storage variants.
Previously, Android-focused website Android Central claimed to get its hands on the next Nexus 7 tablet, though it did give a disclaimer that it was not sure if the pictures featured the final version of the device or a prototype.

The tablet came with a specifications sheet that mentioned a 7-inch LCD display and two cameras, a 1.2-megapixel front shooter from LITEONMOBILE and a 5-megapixel rear camera by Chicony. The placement of the rear camera and the Nexus logo match the new leaked press shots.

The specifications sheet also mentioned a Qualcomm APQ8064 motherboard indicating the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. It also mentioned 4GB of DDR3L RAM and 16GB and 32GB storage options.

The tablet is likely to come with Android 4.3, and is expected to be announced in two days. The unveiling is likely to come at a July 24 event in San Francisco. Google has already sent invitations to the media. The event will be hosted by Sundar Pichai, a Google executive who oversees the company's Android and Chrome operating systems.
