About X-Men Movie (2000)

In a world where an unknown proportion of people are mutants, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is derived from the homo superior atoms and possesses superhuman powers.

Normal humans find them non-suitable, and thus, mutants face discrimination as they too fear of being accepted for their differences.

This distrust gives rise to an inevitable clash between the two groups. While one — Professor Xavier's (Patrick Stewart) X-Men — believes in the acceptance of mutant-kind, the other — the Brotherhood of Mutants, led by Magneto (Ian McKellen) — thinks they are better than humans.
