This review is given after using this laptop for almost 5 years.For fashion designer or graphic designer macbook /imac desktop are the preferred choices. However, they are powerful but come with big price tag. When I was searching the features I need in macbook it was costing me around 2.20 lacs in 2015. Here HP 14-AL010TX came to be pocket friendly that costed me around 90k that time. This laptop is very smooth while using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and photo editing. The color accuracy is one of the best features this laptop is gifted with. With powered by SSD and Nvidia Geforce 940MX and high pixel density suffices all that a designer needs and the best alternative to Apple Macbooks. Keypad is also very smooth in typing and it is working great in these 5 years. Sound is by B&O is not that great but very soothing while working in low volume. Body is very light weight and handy to use while commute.Only downside this laptop has poor trackpad. Battery backup is degraded in these 5 years with power back up for only 2-3 hours when Photoshop is active. It doesn't have USB Type-C port which supposed to exist at this cost.Overall, I'm very much satisfied with this laptop till date.

The performance is on par with some the best laptops available in the market...overlooking a couple of issues like overheating....all in all a great handy device

Great machine.Very sleek and light weight. Beats the Mac Book Air easily in performance and elegance.Buy the golden one.I use Adobe Creative cloud software and works perfectly fine in all editing modes.

I bought this laptop from a nearby HP store it looks fantastic with Full HD display.. Performance is very good..

i am using this laptop from last 1month and its awsome working smoth.keypad and touchpad are so soft

The Product packs a lot of features at the price range. I purchased it in july 2016 same month it was launched. I personally don't play resource intensive games, but rather do more of coding which I think it can handle very well specially multiple IDE's and application softwares.Few pros and cons:Pros:The 6th gen i7 Processor is powerful and is good for multitasking with (i would say about 10 to 20) exhaustive applications at a time.Hyper-threading supported, I like the 128 gb ssd provided along with 1 TB HDD, 12 GB DDR4 RAM , if I am not wrong are all amazing featuresCompared to Mac Book pro (512 GB) version its a bit slow, but not far behind in terms of performance. I compared it neck to neck with my friends macVery Light weight, can be handled with ease at anywhere.I got 3 years warranty, HP headphones and HP bag at that time along with a very good discount, can't say about the current scenarioBacklight keyboard, for those nocturnal people who like to work at night.The B&O sound is very good on speakers as well as headphoneCons:-The on board-keyboard with the laptop feels delicate as compared to Lenovo laptops like the Thinkpad (compared to this price range) and mine is yet to be replaced since some keys are functioning but not with ease- There are some hiccups in the screen like the screen jitters sometimes when some cellphone is nearby, on call or some messaging is going on. Maybe the HP guys will fix this in the next prototype- One thing I would like to point put on all HP laptops is the quality of trackpad is worst compared to other laptops in this price segment. so If you do not have a problem with the Laptop's keyboard and trackpad that much, I think its a great deal, else better go for something like lenovo Think pad which feels very premium.- Battery backup I was expecting at least 6 hours, but after full charge and discharge I get exactly 4 hours of battery backup. It takes 1 hrs 30 min to charge the device btw.

Amazing performance wise but the battery has had issues, over the two years i had to get the battery replaced two times, apart from this everything else is decent.

I do not receive solution to problems faced by me. The system was formatted within 10 days of purchase for various complaints. But still I am facing same problems e.g. repeatedly getting messages "USB device is malfunctioning....", system hangs when opening a file / or doing multi tasking, This is a hopeless product.
