Yu Televentures is a subsidiary of Micromax Informatics Pvt Ltd. India's largest smartphone maker launched this sub-brand as an online-only venture. Yu makes affordable Android smartphones, sold in flash sales on popular Indian ecommerce websites. The company also makes a fitness tracker and a health device that monitors vital parameters such as blood pressure. Yu's latest mobile launch is the Galaxy A36 5G. The mobile was launched in 2nd March 2025. The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 2340 pixels by 1080 pixels.
It comes with 8GB, 12GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB, 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1000GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G packs a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel (f/2.2) + 5-megapixel (f/2.4) primary camera on the rear and a 12-megapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies.
The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G runs Android 15 and is powered by a 5000mAh non removable battery. It measures 162.90 x 78.20 x 7.40 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 195.00 grams.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
