Fairphone, founded in 2009, is a social enterprise targeting to build smartphones designed and produced with fair labour conditions for the workforce and the supply chain. The company claims to be the world's first to launch a modular smartphone - one that customers can assemble or even upgrade if they wish to. Fairphone's latest mobile launch is the 4. The mobile was launched in 30th September 2021. The phone comes with a 6.30-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,080 pixels by 2,340 pixels at a PPI of 410 pixels per inch.
It comes with 6GB, 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB, 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2000GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Fairphone 4 packs a 38-megapixel (f/1.6) + 48-megapixel (f/2.2) primary camera on the rear and a 25-megapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies.
The Fairphone 4 runs Android 11 and is powered by a 3,905mAh removable battery. It measures 162.00 x 75.50 x 10.50 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 225.00 grams.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
