The company has confirmed that the registration on Flipkart for the fourth flash sales of Mi 3 will end midnight August 11. Xiaomi has also clarified that interested consumers who registered for the third Mi 3 flash sale will have to register again for the next sale.
Until now the company, also referred to as 'China's Apple', automatically registered those consumers for the next sale who missed out the chance to buy the Mi 3 in the previous sale. Notably, the Mi 3 will only be available to registered consumers on sale day.

It's worth pointing out that Flipkart's procedure for the Mi 3 flash sale requires people to just add it to their cart for it to be classified as 'sold', and people are given additional time to complete their purchase.
Xiaomi, with the limited stock of Mi 3 on sale on Flipkart, has undoubtedly been receiving consumers' wrath. The company had claimed that it sold the Mi 3 in just two seconds, which was a full three seconds less than the last time. The company made the claim via Twitter and the company's tweet received the ire of frustrated buyers.

The Chinese company, addressing another criticism that it did not reveal numbers behind its 'sold out' claims, confirmed that it sold 20,000 Mi 3 units in the first two flash sales. Xiaomi had claimed that the first batch of Mi 3 smartphones in India was sold out within 40 minutes of its availability. The second batch of Mi 3 handsets was sold out within 5 seconds.
