In a new development, some Google Nexus 6 owners are experiencing problems with their LTE connec. Many users across the world have reported this issue in the last 48 hours, including Nexus 6 users in the US subscribed to the T-Mobile network.

Apart from the US, users from Canada, Australia, Finland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Mexico, Germany, and Hong Kong are also reporting the same issue. On Twitter, the T-Mobile Help handle has confirmed that it is aware about the problem, and is working with Motorola and Google to bring a fix soon. On its product forums, Google too has acknowledged its awareness, and has confirmed that it is working on the issue, which appears to be caused when GPS is turned on alongside.

Earlier speculation tied the August Android Security Update that arrived on Sunday to the outage, however, connectivity issues are plaguing even users on custom ROMs and older Android builds as well. Neither Google or Motorola have made any further official statements yet.

Google introduced the Motorola-made Nexus 6 in 2014 with 32GB and 64GB storage options priced at $649 (approximately Rs. 40,000) and $699 (approximately Rs. 43,000) respectively. Recapping its specifications, the Google Nexus 6 comes with a 5.96-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display, and 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor alongside 3GB of RAM. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. It sports a 3220mAh battery.
