The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) based Spice Smart Flo Mettle 5X runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It comes with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 480x854 pixels. The Smart Flo Mettle 5X is powered by a dual-core 1.3GHz processor alongside 512MB of RAM. The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera and also includes a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It includes 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
The Smart Flo Mettle 5X comes with dimensions 148.5x78.9x10.4mm, and weighs 190 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and Micro-USB. Unfortunately, the Smart Flo Mettle 5X does not support 3G connectivity. It packs an 1800mAh battery that can deliver up to 4 hours of talktime and up to 150 hours standby time.
The Spice Flo Mettle 5X will come preloaded with popular instant chat service, BBM. Recently, BlackBerry announced that its cross-platform messaging app, BBM, would come preinstalled on a number of Android smartphones from domestic brands, namely Celkon, Spice and Zen, starting December 2013.
