Creative Peripherals on Monday launched a voice-calling tablet in India dubbed Smart SQ718 3G. The budget tablet is priced at Rs. 8,999 and comes in Black colour variant only.
The Smart SQ718 3G runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. It offers dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support along with voice-calling feature. The tablet features a 7-inch WSVGA (600x1024 pixel) IPS display with a calculated pixel density of 201.9ppi.
A quad-core MediaTek MT8382 processor powers the device, clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with a 1GB of RAM. The Smart SQ718 3G sports a 5 -megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.
The Smart SQ718 3G comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It supports 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, GPS/ A-GPS, and GPRS/ EDGE connectivity options. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery as well.
