After multiple bogus PS5 release dates, a belated price reveal, reported trademark troubles, unofficial pre-orders by opportunistic stores, a Twitter campaign by exasperated fans, messages from Sony India that tried to reassure but failed instead, followed by long periods of silence, and failed promises that took the PS5 launch date from late 2020 to February 2, 2021 — the wait is over. At least for those that were lucky enough to grab a pre-order (and not have it cancelled by outlets unable to complete the sale).
