As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo V40 on the rear packs a dual camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera, and a 50-megapixel camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 50-megapixel sensor.

The Vivo V40 runs FuntouchOS 14 is based on Android 14 and packs 128GB, 256GB, 512GB of inbuilt storage. The Vivo V40 measures 164.00 x 74.00 x 7.50mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 190.00 grams. It was launched in Ganges Blue, Lotus Purple, and Titanium Grey colours. It features an IP68 rating for dust and water protection. It bears a glass body.

Connectivity options on the Vivo V40 include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.30, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
