I am not sure what everyone else is complaining here about the installation or service. Either I was lucky enough for everything to fall right in place or I did the right things timely.My previous AC was Voltas 183 PYt-R which I bought 2 years ago. It died on us because of my locality. Right behind a chemical company. The gas emitted on our outdoor unit has corrupted the AC in just 2 years. So, I was out on the market to buy another Voltas AC because their customer service has always been top notch. I'm from Chennai, Perungudi by the way.I zeroed down to 183 JY and 183 SY. JY was Amazon fulfilled, SY wasn't so I ordered this. It was expected to be delivered on Wednesday but I got it today (Saturday) - 4 days ahead. I got SMS alert at 10am saying l will be receiving the product today. While I was planning to Google to find out which number to call for scheduling the installation, I got an email from Amazon with all details required for installation. They also had a Amazon escalation#, in case the Voltas is not responding to me. That's impressive!So, I called up the number at 11.30am - note that I didn't even receive the AC by now. The Voltas engineer scheduled for the installation to be done at 4pm. The AC arrived at 3pm. We didn't want the standard installation but to keep the outdoor unit in the terrace. So it costed us 4,700/- for 3metres copper wire, a stand, service charges. I think that was fine because I was told about this already and it wasn't a surprise.The product as such is good. Cools the room in 5mins at 24 temperature. I like the white colour numbering. Pleasant at night when we have all lights off.Over all, I'm happy and well satisfied with this. Thank you!

Nice AC, writing review after using more than a year. We are using this since last summer. Less noise, good cooling, easy to maintain.

Was a bit spectacular buying it online but am completely satisfied with the AC and it's features. Also very quick and good response from voltas.

I ordered silver color but the product delivered was of white color. Anyways cooling is what matters excellent product from flipkart.5star for Flipkart and 4 star for the product .

This AC cooling capacity is 4900 W

it makes sound and takes around 7-8 min to start compressor before colling

Purchased on 9th April and delivered on 13th April as promised. Amazon as ever very good at meeting delivery dates.But what is irritating is that following up with Voltas Customer care for getting the product installed.Being in Metro like Hyderabad had to wait for 6 days to get it installed that too after multiple follow ups and missing commitments.After all the Installation persons are professional and spent nearly 2 hours installing it and didn't go it in a hurry as most would.Want to mention specifically here the cooling capacity of this AC is not 5100W but is 4900W only.Amazon please update in product specifications.

The AC is good. But, it takes time to cool. Also it have a single vane for swing. So stopping the swing still does not stop cold air blowing directly on body during the night.The installation was prompt. But they fixed it after removing the old one. There is a small gap in the wall as the old one was slightly bigger. When the fixed they could have done it slightly lower. The gap would not have shown. They could have also brought the extra copper tubing to avoid delays in installation
