Samsung launched the Galaxy S7 (seen above) and the Galaxy S7 Edge at MWC 2016. Check out the full specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
With Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung has used new Dual Pixel technology for its 12-megapixel rear camera to offer better low light photography.
As with other recent Samsung Galaxy S flagship smartphones, the South Korean giant has integrated a fingerprint sensor on the home button.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be made available in White Pearl, Silver Titanium, Gold Platinum, and Black Onyx colour options.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch QHD Super Amoled display, while the Galaxy S7 Edge (seen above) features a 5.5-inch QHD Super Amoled dual-edge display.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are nearly identical in terms of specifications, with the only differences in screen size, screen resolution, dimensions, and battery size.
While the Samsung Galaxy S7 is powered by a 3000mAh battery, the Galaxy S7 Edge is powered by a 3600mAh battery.
Samsung will be offering the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in two processor variants depending on the region - either the octa-core Exynos 8890, or quad-core Snapdragon 820.
Notably, both smartphones are IP68-certified, providing some amount of water and dust resistance.
