Chinese smartphone brand, Meizu, has launched the m2 note in India. Priced at Rs. 9,999, the successor to the Meizu m1 note will again be an Amazon exclusive and will go on sale starting August 10. The company announced the launch via a tweet.

Initially launched in China in June, the smartphone packs few upgraded specifications when compared to its predecessor. The m2 note features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Sharp IGZO display with 403ppi pixel density. Much like the Meizu m1 note, the m2 note is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The m2 note however features an upgraded chipset MediaTek MT6753 processor instead of the MediaTek MT6752 seen on the m1 note.
