Redmi 12 mobile was launched on 16th July 2023. The phone comes with a 90 Hz refresh rate 6.79-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 1080x2460 pixels (FHD+) at a pixel density of 396 pixels per inch (ppi). Redmi 12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 processor. It comes with 4GB, 6GB, 12GB of RAM. The Redmi 12 runs Android 13 and is powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery. The Redmi 12 supports proprietary fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Redmi 12 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/f/1.8) primary camera; an 8-megapixel (f/f/2.2) camera, and a 2-megapixel (f/f/2.4) camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/f/2.1 aperture.

The Redmi 12 runs MIUI 14 is based on Android 13 and packs 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 1000GB). The Redmi 12 is a single SIMmobile that accepts a Nano-SIM card. The Redmi 12 measures 168.60 x 76.28 x 8.17mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 198.00 grams. It was launched in Jade Black and Moonstone Silver Pastel Blue colours. It bears a glass body.

Connectivity options on the Redmi 12 include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v5.30, NFC, USB OTG, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G with active 4G on both SIM cards. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer and fingerprint sensor. The Redmi 12 supports face unlock.
