Samsung Galaxy A53 5G Summary

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is similar to the older Galaxy A52s 5G but borrows design elements from the new Galaxy S22 series. Thankfully, Samsung retains the older model's IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, making it stand out from the competition.

The new Exynos 1280 SoC delivers budget performance, so those looking for a good gaming phone will have to look elsewhere. The Galaxy A53 5G borrows most of its core hardware, including camera components, from the older Galaxy A52s 5G.

Camera performance is good in daylight but is average in low light. Video performance is quite good but below the mark in low light.

Its 5,000mAh battery lasts two days with casual use. Samsung does not offer a charger in the box, but the phone supports 25W fast charging. Charging speeds are slow when compared to the competition.

At 35999 this phone comes without a travel adapter, worst place to cut cost. I have been a Samsung user for long right from the introduction of Galaxy Duos but Samsung A53 5G is the worst among the lot. I have a Samsung A30 with 4 GB RAM and Samsung A50s with 4GB RAM which have better performance than A53 5G with 8 GB RAM. Phone does not feel that premium as well. Very unsatisfied.

I am writing this review after a week of usage. Camera works perfectly, screen runs smoothly and is bright. * You'll find it value for money. Affordable than most of the flagship phones available in the market. * You can play high end games efficiently. More graphic settings will be available soon. * Performance is nice and you can find it handy in your hands. * Battery is also good. Drain time is somewhat early but I am using it in full settings. Overall, you'll find it nice and premium. I'll rate it 9/10.

Best mobile for the money indeed. The display and performance is at its peak as expected, such a smooth ui experience. The front cam and the battery?s life could have been a bit better for this range.
