Google is confirmed to launch the Fitbit Air in India soon. Ahead of its anticipated debut, the screenless fitness tracker is allegedly already already appearing in stores. Photos shared online show the Fitbit Air in multiple colour options. One retailer also appears to be already selling the FitAir Air for a slightly higher rate than its global pricing. Google, meanwhile, has already confirmed an India launch for October, but has not revealed the exact date or official price.

X user shared images of what appears to be Fitbit Air in a retail store. It can be seen in black, blue, and red shades, which are likely to be introduced as Obsidian, Lavender, and Cherry colour options, similar to the global model. Meanwhile, Fog colourway of the Fitbit Air could not be seen.

The X user further claimed that one retailer is selling the device for around Rs. 16,000. For comparison, Google launched the screenless fitness tracker at a starting price of $99.99 (roughly Rs. 9,400) in the US. The tech giant also sells the Fitbit Air Special Edition, co-designed with Stephen Curry, which is priced at $129.99 (roughly Rs. 12,300).

Google confirmed earlier this month that the Fitbit Air will launch in India in October 2026, although it stopped short of announcing an exact date, India pricing, or its availability. The tracker, notably, was previously showcased at the Made by Google India briefing, where its India launch was announced.

Since it is a screenless fitness tracker, the Fitbit Air jhas a compact “pebble” design with no display. The company claims this allows users to wear it throughout the day without notifications or screen distractions. The wearable is focused on passive health tracking, with detailed insights accessible through the Google Health app on a connected smartphone.

Fitbit Air includes several health-monitoring features, including round-the-clock heart rate tracking, heart rhythm monitoring with AFib alerts, blood oxygen (SpO2) tracking, resting heart rate monitoring, heart rate variability tracking, sleep stage analysis, and sleep duration monitoring.

For activity tracking, it supports automatic workout detection and tracking. Users can also manually log workouts or use guided workouts through Google Health Coach. The company claims the Fitbit Air can last up to a week on a single charge.
