Lava Agni 4 was launched in India on Thursday. It arrives as the successor to the Lava Agni 3, which was introduced in October 2024. The latest handset from the India-based company sports a 6.67-inch 120Hz Flat AMOLED display, housed within an aluminium alloy metal frame. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The Lava Agni 4 packs a 5,000mAh battery.

Lava Agni 4 Price in India, Availability

The Lava Agni 4 price in India is set at Rs. 22,999 for the sole variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. However, the brand claims this is introductory pricing, inclusive of Debit Card or Credit Card offers.

The handset is offered in two colour options — Phantom Black and Lunar Mist. It can be purchased via Amazon beginning November 25 at 12pm IST.

Lava Agni 4 Features, Specifications

The Lava Agni 4 runs on stock Android 15. It is promised to receive three Android upgrades and four years of security updates. The handset sports a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 2,400 nits local peak brightness, and a pixel density of 446 PPI (pixels per inch).

As per the company, it has an aluminium alloy metal frame with 1.7mm equilateral bezels on the front and a matte AG glass at the rear. The Lava Agni 4 comes with a Super Anti-Drop Diamond Frame for enhanced drop protection, Corning Gorilla Glass on the screen, and an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating. Lava claims it also has a Wet Touch Control feature, which increases the screen's responsiveness when interacting with damp or oily hands.

The Lava Agni 4 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is claimed to have an AnTuTu (v10) score of more than 1.4 million. There is also a VC Liquid Cooling system with a heat dissipation area of 4,300 sq mm for managing thermals.

For optics, the Lava handset has a dual rear camera system, comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 50-megapixel front-facing camera with electronic image stabilisation (EIS) for selfies and video calls. Both front and rear cameras support video recording at up to 4K 60fps.

With the Lava Agni 4, the brand has introduced its proprietary Vayu AI, which is claimed to enable natural and conversational learning. It provides control over system-level functions via voice commands. There are also AI Agents on the handset, including AI Math Teacher, AI English Teacher, AI Male and Female Companions, AI Horoscope, AI Text Assistant, AI Call Summary, AI Photo Editor, AI Image Generator, and more. Apart from this, you get access to voice and visual intelligence features and Google's Circle to Search.

Lava Agni 4 is the brand's first offering to come with a customisable Action Key. It is claimed to offer more than 100 combinations via short, double, and long-press actions. The button can be used to trigger functions such as camera, torch, vibration mode, apps, and more, as per their requirement.

The handset comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, app lock, anti-theft alarm, and anti-peeping features for privacy and security. Connectivity features on the Lava Agni 4 include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.2 Type-C, and an IR Blaster. It also gets dual stereo speakers and a microphone.

The Lava Agni 4 packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for wired fast charging at 66W. The company claims it can be charged up to 50 percent in 19 minutes.
