OnePlus Releases 2017 Annual Report for Product, Software, Social Media Landmarks

OnePlus recently released its annual report for 2017 in which the Chinese phone manufacturer claims that revenue doubled to more than $1.4 billion (roughly Rs. 8,900 crores) and phone sales for the company grew by 55 percent compared to 2016. OnePlus also released several statistics about social media, customer support, community, software, and product milestones.

According to the annual report by OnePlus, the company's products are now sold in 32 countries. The company now has 111,000 Open Beta software users, with 1,700 bugs already caught by these users. Talking about OnePlus community, the platform now supports 24 languages and has witnessed 219 percent new user registration growth over 2016.

In terms of customer support, OnePlus claimed that over 10 million support cases were resolved globally in 2017. German was added to supported languages, and the company held its first Open Ears Forum in London, and the first Customer Support AMA was held on the OnePlus forums. OnePlus now has 776 employees spread over 18 countries, with over 206,000 official hours logged in.

OnePlus has also been growing decently on social media. The company claims to now have over 11 million fans across channels, with posts seen more than 2.3 billion times. "More than 570,000 photos have been posted on Instagram using the #shotononeplus hashtag." said the annual report.

The number 1 selling phone through Finland's biggest telecom carrier Elisa is from OnePlus, however there is no information as to which phone this is.

The OnePlus 5T is the latest smartphone from the OnePlus bandwagon. Launched back in November 2017, the OnePlus 5T sports a 6.01-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) Full Optic AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, coupled with 6GB/ 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB/ 128GB of inbuilt storage. There is a 3300 battery under the hood, with Dash Charge support.
