Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ launch only a few hours away, and the crowd at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 is highly anticipating to see the Galaxy models. But in the meantime, Samsung itself accidentally published a promotional video that is still available via third-parties online, detailing the upcoming flagships in advance. Some live images of the Galaxy S9 series handsets have also emerged on the Web to highlight major similarities with their predecessors. Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will take over from the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ as Samsung's flagship smartphones for 2018.

The promotional video, which is likely to be released formally following the launch of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ later on Sunday, reveals some of the key advancements by Samsung. The little more than three-minute-long video was uploaded by the company, but it was immediately removed from YouTube - certainly to maintain secrecy. However, folks at Slashleaks have managed to release the same video through their YouTube channel to help us understand what all be the major developments that are taking place at Samsung's Unpacked 2018 event in Barcelona.

Similar to some previous leaks, the video confirms that design of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ is matching the last year's flagships. But Samsung has this time apparently added new features to take on the competition in 2018. The video begins by showing the display of the Galaxy S9, though it also highlights the new DeX Pad that will double the screen of the smartphone as a touchpad and keyboard. It is worth pointing out that you'll need to plug a monitor into the Pad to use the Galaxy S9 as an input device.

If the DeX Pad is not of your interest, the promotional video shows how Samsung is integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) technologies within the camera app of the Galaxy S9 flagships. The video also confirms a dedicated pairing app, face unlock feature, and a water-resistant build. Further, there are hints at some enterprise-focused features that will come through Samsung Knox 3.1. Samsung additionally seems to launch an Enterprise Edition of the Galaxy S9 with features such as remote OTA (over-the-air) updates support, extended warranties, and security updates for up to four years.

The video doesn't reveal features such as a variable aperture that was previously leaked. Nevertheless, a recently leaked pamphlet in Spanish confirmed the variable aperture as well as a Super Slow Motion feature with a support of up to 900fps videos. The pamphlet also mentioned that the Galaxy S9 will go on sale in Spain at EUR 850 (approximately Rs. 67,700), while the Galaxy S9+ will be available at EUR 1,000 (roughly Rs. 79,800) - identical to the launch price of the Galaxy Note 8.
