Laptop manufacturers should really stop over-using the term AI to market their products. The recently launched Acer Swift 14 AI, for example, even has an AI activity indicator that glows when performing AI tasks. Luckily, the Swift 14 AI is a lot more than its AI branding. It's got excellent battery life, a good display, plenty of ports, a sleek design, and decent performance.

Gaming laptops are a dime a dozen these days, and everyone is trying to bring something unique to the table. The new Acer Predator Helios Neo 16, although a mouthful, offers more than just gaming performance. AI is all the buzz right now, and most manufacturers are trying to join the bandwagon by slapping ‘AI' next to the product name. While Acer hasn't done that with its latest Predator Helios Neo 16 laptop, it does have a dedicated Microsoft Copilot key and can run several AI-accelerated software.

Acer introduced the Swift Go laptop series at CES 2023, powered by both Intel and AMD CPUs. The AMD Ryzen-powered laptop was launched in March of this year in India, and today we'll be reviewing the base model of the Swift Go 14. It is aimed at the urban youth who would want a stylish and premium looking laptop which is portable and powerful. Let's find out if the Swift Go 14 checks all the boxes.
