Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has 12GB RAM
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to launch in July alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. Ahead of the formal reveal, the RAM, and storage details and colour options of the upcoming foldable phones have leaked online. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is said to feature 16GB of RAM — or a 4GB upgrade over the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is likely to be available in three RAM and storage options. The new FE model is said to be equipped with 8GB of RAM.
Tipster Arsène Lupin (@MysteryLupin) suggested the colour options, RAM, and storage details of the upcoming Galaxy Z series smartphones on X. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is claimed to be released in three RAM and storage configurations — 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. It could be available in Coral Red, Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and Silver Shadow colourways.
For comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is available in Navy, Pink, and Silver Shadow colour options, but it can also be purchased in White and Crafted Black variants via the company's website. The existing model has 12GB of RAM.
Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 7 is said to be released in 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage models. It is likely to go on sale in Blue Shadow, White, and Black colourways.
Last year's Galaxy Z Flip 6 was offered in Blue, Mint, Silver Shadow primary colours and Crafted Black, Peach, and White online exclusive shades. It is sold in 12GB + 256GB and 12 GB + 512GB storage options.
Finally, the purported Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is tipped to come in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations. The Fan Edition phone is said to be released in black and white colours.
The tipster doesn't give us an idea about the launch date of Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. The trio is expected to debut in July at Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung's tri-fold and its “Ultra” foldable are also expected to make an appearance at the same event.
